Music festival organisers warn punters about dodgy tickets

The warnings follows a spate of fake sites that have sprung up purporting to sell tickets for the Reading and Leeds festivals.

Festival Republic has reportedly had two dodgy phishing fan pages - presumably on Facebook - shut down after each claimed to offer free Reading tickets to anyone who gave away their email address and other personal details.
The company said: "Please do not register with any third party claiming to represent Reading and Leeds Festival, if you are unsure please call the information line 0207 009 3001."
Meanwhile, Glastonbury organisers, who have recently insisted that festival goers bring, not just their ticket, but plenty of ID with them to the event too, confirmed this morning that She Wolf Shakira would be playing at this year's show.
Glasto tickets, that were exclusively handled by See Tickets, have now sold out.
"Any other company or individual claiming to sell Glastonbury Festival tickets is bogus," said Glastonbury organisers on the firm's website.
